This page lists RV dump stations at WSDOT-operated rest areas on Interstate 5 in Washington, south (Oregon line) to north (Canada line). WSDOT lists 14 I-5 rest areas; 7 of them list an RV dumping station.

Current closures (as of 2026-10-21)
- Scatter Creek NB (MP 90): WSDOT lists the RV dumping station as Closed; rest area open. No reopening date published on the WSDOT page.
- Silver Lake SB (MP 188): WSDOT lists the rest area and its RV dumping station as Closed. No reopening date published on the WSDOT page.
- Toutle River NB & SB (MP 54): rest areas listed Closed. WSDOT does not list a dump station there.
I-5 rest areas without a listed dump station
Per WSDOT: Toutle River NB/SB (MP 54), Maytown SB (MP 93), Bow Hill NB/SB (MP 238), Custer NB (MP 267) and SB (MP 269).
Smokey Point and Elma notes
Smokey Point (I-5, MP 207): Both dump stations are listed Open as of 2026-10-21. The most recent closure notice we could find is WSDOT's June 3, 2025 advisory (dump stations closed June 4–5, 2025, for maintenance). Unverified: we found no WSDOT source for a 2026 Smokey Point closure.
Elma (SR 8 eastbound, MP 2, not on I-5): Local outlets reported WSDOT would close the restrooms and grounds 7 a.m. March 3 – 3 p.m. March 5, 2026, for annual maintenance (The Daily World, GHS Scanner). We have not found the original WSDOT bulletin for this. WSDOT now lists the Elma dump station as Open.
What we don't list (yet)
Fees, hours, and potable-water details aren't on the WSDOT pages, so we leave them out. Private and state-park dump stations near I-5 are left out until we can check them against official pages.
